આ સંમેલન પૂર્ણ થતાં પહેલાં જ પોલીસે અહીં પણ ૧૪૪મી કલમની જાહેરાત
કરી શ્રી વિનોદ ગાડીત, નિમેષ ભટ્ટ સહિતના ૧૦૦ જેટલા યુવકોને પકડી લીધા.

રહ્યા હતા. ત્યાંથી પોલીસે તેમની ડી.આઈ.આર.માં ધરપકડ કરી અમદાવાદની કૉર્ટમાં
હાજર કર્યા. પ્રારંભથી જ સંઘર્ષ સાથે જોડાયેલ શ્રી રાજેન્દ્ર દવે, કુ. મંદાકિની દવે,
હંસમુખ પટેલ અને અતુલ શાહને શરૂમાં ઝઝારમાં અને પાછળથી ॥ાડઢમાં પકડવામાં
આવ્યા. અવારનવાર ભૂગર્ભ કાર્યકરો પણ પોલીસને હાથ આવી જતા. અનેક પ્રકારની
પૂછપરછ પછી તેમને જેલમાં મોકલી દેવાતા.
આવી વિકટ સ્થિતિમાં પણ સંઘના કાર્યકરોને લડત માટેનું નવું જોમ મળી
રહે તે માટે ૧૫થી ૨૦ જેટલા કાર્યકરોના બેથી ચાર દિવસના તાલુકા પ્રમાણેના
શિબિરોનું આયોજન પણ થતું હતું. આ શિબિરોમાં ચુનંદા કાર્યકરોને પ્રવેશ મળતો.
