ખબર હતી; પરંતુ અંદરનો જ કોઈ સાથી ફૂટી જવાથી જેલ ઓથોરિટી પાસે માહિતી
પહોંચી ગઈ. બસ, પછી તો પૂછવું જ શું! જેલ જમાદારો અને અધિકારીઓનાં ધાડાં
ઊતરી આવ્યાં.
અગાઉની માહિતીને આધારે જમીન ખોદીને બરણી બહાર કાઢવામાં આવી.
તપાસ શરૂ થઈ. જેમણે સાહિત્ય લખવામાં મદદ કરી હતી તે બધાના અક્ષરો પકડાઈ
ગયા. બીજા પણ કેટલાક આગેવાનો આમાં સંડાવાયા હશે એમ માની ૧૦
