હતાં. અનેક સ્થળોએ વિશાળ સરઘસો કાઢીને પ્રજાએ “કટોકટી'
સામે પોતાનો વિરોધ વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો.
અમદાવાદે પ્રતિકારના સમર્થનમાં એક વિશાળ
જનતારેલીનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું. આ “જનતારેલી'નું નેતૃત્વ
જનતા-મોરચાના નેતાઓ તેમ જ બિનપક્ષીય કાર્યકરોએ
સંભાળ્યું હતું. શહેરના રાજમાર્ગો પર ફરેલા આ સરઘસે
લોકોનો ભય અને ભ્રમ હવે ભાંગી રહ્યો હોવાની પ્રતીતિ કરાવી
