जेलवासियों के नाम एक पत्र
राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के क्षेत्र प्रचारक श्री लक्ष्मणरावजी इनामदार (वकील
साहब) जो कि भ्रूमियत रहते हुए गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश एवं योवा के
भूमियत आंदोलन को तथा जेलों में कैद सैकड़ों कार्यकर्ताओं को भी चिंतनात्मक
मार्गदर्शन दे रहे थे, ने ३१ मई. १९७६ के दिन गुजरात की जेलों में फैसे साथियों
के नाम संघर्ष की दशा सुस्पष्ट करनेवाला यह पत्र लिखा था। इस पत्र को पढ़कर
प्राठक इस बात का अनुमान लया सकेंगे कि इस संघर्ष का ध्येय कितना स्पष्ट था
तथा इसका नेतृत्व करनेवालों के मनोबल कितने मजबूत थे। इस पत्र में समाहित
मुद्॒दों पर जेलवासियों ने चर्चा-बैठकें भी की थीं।

साथी मित्रो,
सप्रेम नमस्कार !
लंबे अंतराल के बाद आज पत्र लिख रहा हूँ। पत्र लिखने की इच्छा कई
बार हुई। पत्र में क्या लिखूँ, इसी असमंजस में था।
पिछले करीब तीन माह से आप सभी अपने अन्य मित्रों से मिल पाए हैं।
जेल में अनेक कष्टों को सहन करना पड़ता होगा, तथापि जिस कार्य को हम सभी
ने अपना जीवन-लक्ष्य बनाया है, उस कार्य के बारे में निरंतर विचार आते रहते होंगे
तथा बाहर इस कार्य हेतु कैसे पुरुषार्थ हो रहे होंगे, यह विचार और चिंता हमेशा
बनी रहा करती होगी। परिस्थितियों से लगातार अवगत रहने की इच्छा पूर्णतया
संतुष्ट न हो पाने के कारण मन उद्विग्न बना रहता होगा। इस अवस्था का जेल के
शारीरिक व मानसिक कष्टों से बढ़कर कष्टदायक होना स्वाभाविक है। जानने-कर

For the last three months, all of you have been able to meet your other friends.
You will have to endure many hardships in jail, however, the work which we all
