अविरत संघर्ष, अविराम प्रतिकार
मोरचा सरकार को गिराना और उसके बाद मीसा का दुरुपयोग कर आतंक
का माहौल खड़ा करना--इन हरकतों से उठे हिचकोलों को भी गुजरात झेल गया।
महीने भर में ही संघर्ष के लिए गुजरात पुनः तैयार हो गया। मोरचा सरकार के पूर्व
मुख्यमंत्री श्री बाबूभाई ज. पटेल एवं अन्य मंत्री स्थान-स्थान पर जाकर कार्यकर्ताओं
तथा प्रजा तक निडर रहने का संदेश पहुँचाते। बड़ी-बड़ी सभाओं पर तो सरकार ने
प्रतिबंध लगा रखा था, परंतु छोटे-छोटे सम्मेलनों पर प्रतिबंध नहीं था। अत: छोटी-
छोटी समूह-बैठकों के आयोजनों के द्वारा चेतना का पुनः संचार किया गया।
सरकार गिरने के तुरंत बाद ही राजकोट के प्रसिद्ध कॉनोट हॉल में श्री
केशुभाई पटेल के नेतृत्व में मोरचा कार्यकर्ताओं का एक सम्मेलन आयोजित हुआ।
इस सम्मेलन को सर्वश्री बाबूभाई पटेल, दिनेश शाह, ब्रह्मकुमार भट्ट इत्यादि का
मार्गदर्शन भी मिला। गिरफ्तारियों के अंधड़ के बीच ऐसे सम्मेलन का आयोजन
करना गुजरात की निर्भीकता का ही प्रमाण है।
श्रीमती हेमा बहन आचार्य एवं विद्या बहन गजेंद्र गडकर महिला सम्मेलनों
में जा-जाकर बहनों में चेतना जगाया करती थीं। हर मीसाबंदी के परिवार से
मिलकर उसकी बहनों को एक स्वजन के समान आश्वासन देतीं, उनका हौसला
बढ़ातीं। यह भरोसा कि उनके बलिदान कदापि व्यर्थ नहीं होंगे, इन परिवारों के
अंतर्मन में एक नई शक्ति का संचार कर जाता। हेमा बहन दोहरी जिम्मेदारी निभा
रही थीं। उनके पति श्री सूर्यकांतभाई को पहले ही मीसा के तहत गिरफ्तार कर
लिया गया था। अत: घर और बाहर दोनों मोरचों को उन्हें ही सँभालना पड़ता था।
