व्यवस्था की आशंका से वे सरकार के गिरने से पहले ही किसी अज्ञात स्थान पर
चले गए थे।
इस बैठक में हम संभी सहयोगी नई परिस्थितियों के बारे में सोच-विचार
कर रहे थे। कई विषयों पर चर्चा चल ही रही थी कि तभी जनसंघ के प्रदेश मंत्री
श्री शंकरसिंह वाघेला वहाँ आ पहुँचे। वे गांधीनगर से आए थे, अत: उनके पास
बहुत सी जानकारी थी उन्होंने सरकार के पतन के समाचार दिए। हम सभी ने और
कई मुद्दों पर भी बातचीत की। अब दोबारा मुलाकात होगी या नहीं, इस बारे में
सभी के मन में संशय था। बैठक में उपस्थित सभी कार्यकर्ता कुछ समय बाद जेलों
में होंगे, यह भी निश्चित था। अत: यह बैठक एक तरह से विदाई समारोह जैसी
प्रतीत हो रही थी। अब हम एक-दूसरे को एक नए स्वतंत्र भारत में ही मिलेंगे--
ऐसी दृढ़ शुभेच्छाएँ परस्पर व्यक्त की गईं।
