एक 'नेता कुटीर' भी बनाई गई थी। जेलों में कैद राष्ट्र-नेताओं की तसवीरों
सहित जेल का हू-ब-हू दृश्य प्रस्तुत करनेवाली यह कुटीर लोगों के विशेष आकर्षण
का केंद्र थी। इस कुटीर को देखने के लिए करीब पाँच हजार नागरिक आए थे।

गुजरात में वनवासी जिले के नाम से प्रसिद्ध पंचमहाल जिला भी इस कार्यक्रम

स्थान-स्थान पर उनका स्वागत किया गया। लुणावाड़ा से अन्य चौंतीस कार्यकर्ता
ज्योति लेकर निकले थे। शहेरा के युवा भी उनके साथ शामिल हुए थे। तीसरी
ज्योति-यात्रा हालोल से अठारह युवाओं के साथ निकली थी। ये तीनों ज्योति-
यात्राएँ जन-जागृति करती हुई २ अक्तूबर को गोधरा पहुँची थीं और वहाँ पर मंत्री
श्री माणेकलाल गांधी द्वारा यात्रा का भव्य स्वागत किया गया था। स्वागतोपरांत
उन्होंने एक विशाल जनसभा को संबोधित किया था | सुरेंद्र नगर जिले में भी लींबडी,
हलवद एवं पाटडी से तीन अलग-अलग ज्योति-यात्राएँ तीस युवाओं के ars GE
नगर पहुँची थीं तथा वहाँ के विधायक श्री जुवानसिंह परमार व जनसंघ के विभागीय
संगठक श्री नारसिंहभाई पढियार ने उनका स्वागत किया था।
बनासकाँठा जिले में साठ कार्यकर्ताओं ने ज्योति लेकर पाँच तहसीलों की
यात्रा की थी, जिनका २ अक्तूबर को श्री अकबरभाई चाबड़ा तथा श्री दत्ताजी
चिरंदास ने स्वागत किया था।
सूरत जिले में ज्योति-यात्रौं का कार्यक्रम २ से ८ अक्तूबर तक किया गया
था। महाराष्ट्र की सीमा से लगी हुई नीझर तहसील के तहसील मुख्यालय से ज्योति-
यात्रा आरंभ हुई थी और ४ अक्तूबर को सूरत में यात्रा का स्वागत किया गया था।
इस ज्योति-यात्रा के आरंभ से पहले सूरत में श्री एस.के. पाटिल, श्री उमाशंकर
जोशी एवं श्री यशवंत शुक्ल ने सभाओं को संबोधित किया था।
“नेता-मुक्ति ज्योति' या “लोकतंत्र ज्योति' का यह कार्यक्रम अब तक हुए
प्रतिकार अभियानों में सर्वाधिक व्यापक कार्यक्रम था। इस कार्यक्रम में ग्रामीण
जन-जागृति को प्रधानता दी गई थी। “लोक संघर्ष समिति' में सक्रियता से प्रवृत्त
राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के कार्यकर्ताओं ने इस ज्योति-यात्रा के कार्यक्रम को सफल
बनाने के लिए अथक परिश्रम किया था। गुजरात के पंचायत चुनावों पर भी इस
ज्योति-यात्रा का प्रभाव पड़ा था। इस कार्यक्रम में SATA की एक सौ पच्चीस
तहसीलों के करीब सभी मुख्य गाँवों को समाविष्ट कर लिया गया था।
