के विशेषाधिकारों का हनन करनेवाला, सदन का अनादर करनेवाला एवं सदन के
सदस्यों के क्रिया-कलापों में हस्तक्षेप करनेवाला दरशाया गया था। इसी सिलसिले
में श्री अशोक भट्ट ने ८ अगस्त को एक और नोटिस भेजकर सेंसर अधिकारियों
द्वारा खड़े किए गए अवरोधों के उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किए।
श्री भट्ट एवं श्री मणियार के नोटिसों पर सदन के अध्यक्ष महोदय ने
विस्तृत रूप से अपनी निरीक्षा प्रस्तुत करते हुए स्पष्ट किया कि सदन की काररवाई
का विवरण यदि असत्य, विकृत, अपूर्ण या क्षोभकारक ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया गया हो
तो वह विवरण सदन के अनादर के समान ही है। हालाँकि बाद में यह मामला
विशेषाधिकार समिति को सौंपा गया था। इस प्रकार, सेंसरशिप को गुजरात विधानसभा
ने भी चुनौती दी थी।
“गुजरात लोक संघर्ष समिति' ने २५ सितंबर तक 'जन-जागरण सप्ताह'
मनाते हुए सत्याग्रह का ऐलान किया। यह सत्याग्रह सूरत, वडोदरा, राजकोट एवं
अहमदाबाद इन चार केंद्रों पर किए जाने का निर्णय लिया गया। इन केंद्रों पर आस-
पास के जिलों के कार्यकर्ता एकत्र होकर सत्याग्रह करते थे। सूरत में सेंसर प्राधिकरण
के कार्यालय के सामने एवं आकाशवाणी केंद्रों के सामने ये सत्याग्रह किए जाते थे।
उत्तर गुजरात में अतिवृष्टि होने के कारण अहमदाबाद केंद्र पर केवल अहमदाबाद
के कार्यकर्ता ही सत्याग्रह में शामिल हो सके थे। अहमदाबाद के सत्याग्रह मुख्यतः
श्री अमृतभाई कडीवाला की देख-रेख में हुए थे। सूरत के सत्याग्रह का संचालन
श्री चंपकभाई सुखड़िया ने किया था तथा राजकोट की व्यवस्था श्री प्रवीणभाई
मणियार ने सँभाली थी।
इन सत्याग्रहों में हर केंद्र पर प्रतिदिन एक-एक जिले के कार्यकर्ता द्वारा
सत्याग्रह किया जाता था। राजकोट केंद्र पर सत्याग्रह का प्रारंभ जामनगर जिले के
कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा किया गया, जबकि वडोदरा में वाघोडिया के कार्यकर्ताओं ने
सत्याग्रह का श्रीगणेश किया।
सत्याग्रह के अंतिम दिन २५ सितंबर को वडोदरा शहर के छिहत्तर भाई-
बहनों ने वडोदरा केंद्र पर सत्याग्रह किया। श्री गोरधनभाई बेचरभाई के नेतृत्व में
हुए इस सत्याग्रह में सत्याग्रहियों को जेल के लिए विदा करने हेतु विशाल जन-
समूह एकत्र हुआ था। बारदोली के श्री लल्लूभाई खत्री, श्री ईश्वरभाई भावसार
इत्यादि ने भी २२ सितंबर के दिन सत्याग्रह किए। राजकोट के सत्याग्रह में पाँच
जिलों के सोलह स्थानों से आए हुए कार्यकर्ताओं ने सत्याग्रह किया था।
