गईं। इसके अलावा शाम को रूपाली थिएटर के पास एवं रायपुर चकला इलाके में
सार्वजनिक रूप से संविधान के आमुख के पठन का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया
गया। लाल दरवाजा के पास स्थित सरदार बाग में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा रैली निकाली
गई। १५ जुलाई से शुरू होनेवाले सत्याग्रह की पूर्व रात्रि को सारे शहर में पंद्रह
मिनट के घंटनाद का कार्यक्रम भी सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
इन सभी कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी सक्रिय कार्यकर्ताओं तक तो पहुँचाना
आसान था; आम जनता तक भी यह जानकारी पहुँचाने के लिए संघ के स्वयंसेवकों
द्वारा यथोचित प्रबंध किए जाते थे। प्रत्येक ats के सूचनापट्ट पर हर नए समाचार
wa कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी नियमित रूप से लिखी जाती थी।

कर दिया था। वडनगर जैसे छोटे से गाँव में डॉ. वसंत पारीख ने एक विशाल सभा
को.संबोधित किया।
इस प्रकार १५ जुलाई से आरंभ होनेवाले सत्याग्रह से पहले ही गुजरात के
हर गाँव का माहौल उष्ण होने लगा था।
गुजरात में सभा-रैलियों पर प्रतिबंध न होने से सत्याग्रह को विशिष्ट शैली
से करना आवश्यक जान पड़ा। यदि सेंसरशिप के कानून को भंग किया जाए, तभी
सत्याग्रह लक्ष्य-सिद्धि में सफल हो सकता था। अतः गुजरात भर में सत्याग्रह की
अभिव्यक्ति के लिए सेंसर न की गई पत्रिकाओं के सार्वजनिक पठन के कार्यक्रम
व्यापक रूप से किए गए।
१५ जुलाई को गुजरात के सभी जिलों में सत्याग्रह कार्यक्रम एक साथ शुरू
