મહત્ત્વનો ભાગ ભજવ્યો હતો. સત્યાગ્રહી ટુકડીઓ તૈયાર કરવાથી માંડીને પ્રચાર
સહિતની બધી જ કાર્યવાહી ઘણી જહેમત ઉઠાવી પાર પાડી હતી. આપણા રાષ્ટ્રની
ચેતના જાગ્રત છે, સક્રિય છે અને ગમે તેવાં અનિષ્ટોનો પણ સામનો તે કરી શકે

મંત્રી રવીન્દ્ર વર્માએ તેમના પત્રમાં લખ્યું હતું :
