ક્રાંતિની ઝંખના અને ઉત્સાહ જોયાં છે.
કટોકટી સામેની લડતમાં ગુજરાત હંમેશાં મોખરે રહ્યું. આ સંઘર્ષના અગ્રેસર
કાર્યશીલોમાંના એક શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ પોતે લોકશાહીની લડત અને તેના અંતિમ
વિજયની ગાથા આલેખી છે તે આપણે માટે તૃપ્તિકર ઘટના છે. પુસ્તકની ત્રીજી

સ્મરણ કરીએ છીએ, ફક્ત એટલા માટે કે જેથી આપણે આપણી મહામૂલી લોકશાહી
રજ્યવ્યવસ્થાનું કોઈ પણ ભોગે જતન કરવાનો દેઢ સંકલ્પ કરી શકીએ. બંધારણે
ચિંધેલા માર્ગથી વિપરીત વાટે વળ્યાની કટોકટીની ખતરનાક ઘટનામાંથી આ દેશની
પ્રજા અને ખાસ કરીને રાજકીય વર્ગોએ પાઠ લેવાનો છે. ફરી કદી તે માર્ગે ન જવા
માટે પ્રતિજ્ઞાબદ્ધ થવાનું છે. આપણી લોકશાહી વ્યવસ્થાને Wadi અને જાળવતાં
મૂળભૂત મૂલ્યોને ભેગાં મળી આપણે મજબૂત કરવાનાં છે. વ્યક્તિ, ગમે તેટલી મોટી
હોય; પક્ષ ગમે તેટલો સમર્થ હોય; પણ રાષ્ટ્રનાં હિતો સર્વોપરી છે, તે બધાં કરતાં
ઉપર છે, તે હિતોની પવિત્રતાને આંચ આવવી ન જોઈએ.
