से एक अंग्रेजी पाक्षिक 'सत्यवाणी' का प्रकाशन प्रारंभ हुआ। लंदन निवासी
एक गुजराती ने अपने नए प्रिंटिंग प्रेस का उद्घाटन “सत्यवाणी” का प्रथम अंक
छापकर किया।
*सत्यवाणी ' के लिए समाचार सामग्री भारत से भेजी जाती थी। उसी प्रकार
से 'सत्यवाणी' की सैकड़ों प्रतियाँ भारत पहुँच जाया करती थीं। इसके अलावा,

उन समाचारों की फोटो प्रतियाँ भी भारत को उपलब्ध करवा दी जाती थीं। दुनिया

गई। लंदन में रहनेवाले भारतीय परिवारों के बच्चों को लंदन के एक-एक पुस्तकालय
में जाने का काम सौंप दिया गया। उन्हें नियमित रूप से अपने जिम्मे सौंपे गए
पुस्तकालय पहुँचकर वहाँ उपलब्ध हर समाचार-पत्र को देखना होता था। जहाँ
कहीं भी भारत से संबंधित समाचार उन्हें दिखाई देते, वे तुरंत पुस्तकालय में
उपलब्ध फोटो स्टेट सुविधा (जिस प्रकार हमारे यहाँ के रेलवे स्टेशनों पर वजन
मशीनें होती हैं, उसी प्रकार लंदन के पुस्तकालयों में फोटो स्टेट मशीनें होती हैं,
जिनमें निश्चित कीमत का सिक्का डालकर आवश्यक लेख की फोटो स्टेट प्रति
