साहित्य-सृजन अभियान
सत्याग्रह के प्रारंभ के बारे में सूचना मिलते ही संघ अपनी पूरी शक्ति के
साथ संघर्ष समिति के नेतृत्व में होनेवाले सत्याग्रह आंदोलन में शामिल होने के
लिए तैयारियों में जुट गया। सत्याग्रह से पहले सत्याग्रह से संबंधित साहित्य,
पत्रिकाएँ, पोस्टर इत्यादि बनाने के कार्य में सभी व्यस्त हो गए।
संघ के ही एक भूमिगत प्रचारक श्री किशनभैया 'राजस्थान लोक संघर्ष
समिति' की ओर से साहित्य छपवाने के लिए राजस्थान से अहमदाबाद आए।
उनके लिए दो लाख पत्रिकाएँ हिंदी में छपवाकर राजस्थान पहुँचाने का यह कार्य
हमारे लिए काफी चुनौती भरा था। मैं और जनसंघ के संगठन मंत्री श्री नाथाभाई
झघडा इस कार्य के लिए योग्य प्रेस की तलाश में जुट गए। हिंदी भाषा में इतनी
भारी मात्रा में साहित्य छाप सके, वैसा प्रेस गुजरात में मिलना कठिन था। इसके
अलावा, यदि वैसा सुविधायुकत प्रेस मिल भी जाता तो भी इस प्रकार के साहित्य को
छापने के लिए उसे तैयार करना और भी कठिन था। प्रेस के सभी कर्मचारी
विश्वसनीय हों तथा कार्य को पूरी तरह गुप्त तरीके से किया जाए, यह भी नितांत
आवश्यक था। दो दिन लगातार खोजबीन करने के बाद एक प्रेस मालिक इस काम
के लिए तैयार हुए। हमने राहत की साँस ली। सोचा, एक बार छपाई हो जाए, फिर
आगे देखा जाएगा। पत्रिकाएँ छपने लगीं। दो लाख पत्रिकाओं का ढेर लग गया।
पत्रिकाएँ तैयार होने के बाद अहमदाबाद में चार अलग-अलग स्थानों पर
उन्हें सावधानीपूर्वक रख दिया गया। अब इस साहित्य को कुशलतापूर्वक राजस्थान
पहुँचाने के लिए श्री किशनभैया के साथ मिलकर एक योजना बनाई गई। राजस्थान
के हर जिले से दो-दो कार्यकर्ताओं को अपने साथ खाली बिस्तरबंद लेकर अहमदाबाद
पहुँचने की सूचनाएँ भेज दी गईं। सूचनानुसार वे कार्यकर्ता निश्चित दिन निश्चित
स्थान पर आ पहुँचे। प्रत्येक कार्यकर्ता को उनके जिले के लिए आवश्यक मात्रा में
साहित्य दिया गया। यह साहित्य उन्हें अपने साथ के खाली बिस्तरबंद में इस तरह
रखना था कि बाहर से देखने पर कुछ भी पता न चल पाए। इसके बाद दो-दो के
गुट में उन्हें रेल तथा बस के जरिए अलग-अलग रास्तों से अपने-अपने जिले में
पहुँचना था। साथ-साथ जानेवाले दोनों कार्यकर्ताओं को परस्पर अपरिचितों-सा
व्यवहार करते हुए भी एक-दूसरे का ध्यान रखना a उन्हें यह भी निर्देश दिया गया
कि किसी एक कार्यकर्ता के पकड़े जाने पर दूसरा कार्यकर्ता तुरंत एक निश्चित
स्थान पर उस बारे में सूचना पहुँचाएगा।
